On opening Word crashes with the message: ' Microsoft Word quit unexpectedly'

3 days ago there was an update to 10.10.1. A week ago I moved the OS up to Yosemite 10.10.0 and all seemed fine. I've been using Office on a Mac for many years, mainly Word and Excel.
